It's good to see folks talking about the issues of transit, poverty segregation and the benefits of communities having housing opportunities for all of the people who want to live in a neighborhood not just those who can bid the highest. I am not surprised to see residents (likely McMansion owners) oppose affordable rental apartments. It is part of that "I got mine.
